The Beijing Winter Games is one of the most controversial sporting events in modern times.
Thanks to a global campaign, backed by supporters like you, we have convinced key world leaders to boycott Beijing 2022, secured media coverage about CCP crimes and educated athletes, Olympic associations and the wider public. The scrutiny of these Winter Games has been intense. And now, as the Games begin, we are asking you to…look away.
Not from the CCP’s human rights abuses, of course. We are asking YOU to join the boycott of these tainted Winter Games. With our Hong Kong, Tibetan and Uyghur partners, we are urging people to change the channel on the CCP’s propaganda circus. The International Olympic Committee, the sponsors and the broadcasters need to get the message that whenever the Winter Games are playing, we won’t be watching.

I stand with those living under the CCP’s repressive rule and pledge not to watch the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
The 2022 Winter Olympics are being held against a backdrop of torture, mass incarceration, cultural destruction, religious repression and genocide. Sickeningly, this is the second time that Beijing has hosted the Olympics, following the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which took place in the wake of overwhelming repression in Tibet.
By not watching, I am sending a message to broadcasters, sponsors and the International Olympic Committee. They must stop putting profit above people. They must stop facilitating genocide."
