Even here, Tibetans are no longer safe

Friend, the Chinese government now carries out more acts of transnational repression than any other regime on Earth. Even here in the UK, the CCP uses:

  • Surveillance and digital monitoring
  • Threatening phone calls and online harassment
  • Pressure and punishment of family members in Tibet

The result is silence. Tibetan parents tell their children not to call. Communities shrink in fear. Exiles are left anxious, exhausted, and sleepless.

This is transnational repression.

Its purpose is simple: to silence Tibet forever.

Support the campaign to defend Tibetans from transnational repression:

  • £10 will keep Tibet in the headlines and cut through China’s disinformation through the creation of strategic guidance for journalists and institutions.
  • £25 will counter China’s influence though on-the-ground research and briefings, pressuring policymakers for answers on CCP influence in the UK.
  • £50 will amplify Tibetan voices through a high-impact campaign that will gather testimonies and produce advocacy tools, ensuring Tibetan voices reach decision-makers.
